Method 1: Deleting Content and Adjusting Page Breaks

Step 1: Open Your Document

Launch Microsoft Word and open the document you want to edit.

Step 2: Select Content

Navigate to the page you want to delete. Click at the beginning of the content you wish to remove.

Step 3: Delete Content

Highlight the content you want to delete by holding the left mouse button and dragging to the end of the content. Press the “Backspace” or “Delete” key on your keyboard.

Step 4: Remove Blank Lines

Check for any remaining blank lines or paragraphs on the page. If you find any, place your cursor at the end of the previous page’s content and press the “Delete” key to eliminate the blank space.

Step 5: Adjust Page Breaks

If the unwanted page persists, place your cursor at the end of the preceding content. Go to the “Layout” tab in Word’s toolbar.

Click the “Breaks” button and choose “Next Page” from the drop-down menu. This will insert a page break after the cursor, potentially removing the unwanted page.

Step 6: Save Changes

Save your document to preserve the changes you’ve made.

Method 2: Using the Navigation Pane

Step 1: Open Your Document

Open your Word document.

Step 2: Open Navigation Pane

Go to the “View” tab in Word’s toolbar and check the box next to “Navigation Pane.” This will display the Navigation Pane on the left side of the screen.

Step 3: Navigate to Pages

In the Navigation Pane, you’ll see thumbnails of your document’s pages. Scroll through or use the scrollbar to locate the page you want to delete.

Step 4: Delete Page

Click on the thumbnail of the page you want to delete to select it. Press the “Delete” key on your keyboard. Confirm the deletion if prompted.
